I would love to share an upcoming live performance in Berlin that might be of interest for your event listings.

CONFUSION IS ~~NOT~~ MAGIC is an intimate magic show taking place in a bar setting at Art und Seele in Neukölln.

Rather than traditional stage magic, the show explores the feeling of magic that can emerge when a group of strangers share attention, curiosity and a sense of wonder together.

For many years I have been presenting these living-room style magic shows in Berlin bars such as Savo Bar, Z-Bar and Rotbart to name some. The atmosphere is close, conversational and interactive — somewhere between a performance and a shared experience.

Since I arrived in Berlin about seven years ago, one of the things that connected me most to the city has been the atmosphere of its bars — especially during the week. There is often this feeling that something unexpected might happen, that a conversation might begin with a stranger, that the evening might quietly turn into something memorable. In that sense, the bar becomes almost like a living room for the city: a place to meet, to pause, and a small refuge for the unusual.

The show is performed in English and welcomes both locals and international audiences.

This show happens roughly once a month in Berlin bars. New dates are announced gradually, and the upcoming performances will always be updated on the same page.
