Being a new girl in Berlin is hard, but some of us handle it better than others: they go to therapy! Others prefer doing stand-up comedy. This show features a bunch of female comedians from all over the world, laughing off the common problems: Germans, dating, bureaucracy, and German dating bureaucracy. Come to the show to laugh at your worries with a diverse lineup of performers, some experienced, some new – and a top headliner rounding up each show. And you can spend the whole evening with us at Sisyfass, because in addition to a good mood and a cozy atmosphere, we also offer original drinks and food. You can just sip a cocktail or a beer, relax, eat something tasty and enjoy the show. Show will consist of 2 halves with an interval.

Entry: Pay What You Want* (seat reservation required): you reserve your seat for free, and Pay What You Want at the end of the show, depending on how much you think the show is worth (recommended fee: €10-15). Reservations expire 10 minutes before the start of the show.

Born in Bosnia, raised in Florida, and living in Berlin, Žana’s comedy mirrors her eclectic cultural background and is best described as Balkan pessimism battling delusional American positivity sprinkled in with reggaeton flair.

Within 5 months of starting comedy she became a finalist in the 2022 Berlin New Stand Up Awards and is now hosting & producing shows in Berlin & across Europe. She was nominated for Manchester’s Women in Comedy Festival Awards as Best Newcomer in 2024 and has opened for a variety of comedians across Europe such as Dragos Christian, Rob Anderson & Elena Gabrielle.

You can catch her perform regularly in Berlin to hear her fresh take on the absurdity of immigration laws, her Balkan background, and growing up in Florida. Find one of the longest running English speaking comedy clubs in the German capital in Berlin-Mitte / Prenzlauer Berg. Indulge in a fantastic evening with English stand-up comedy, pizza and shots! Cosmic Comedy Berlin is open every Thursday, Friday and Saturday.

It’s Open-Mic night on Thursdays! Professional and new comics give it ago to make you laugh.

Comedians perform their tried and tested sets to make you laugh at the Showcase events every Friday and Saturday.

Doors open at 7 PM. You will be greeted by one of our fabulous door people when you arrive who gives you a little introduction to the club. Just enjoy drinks at our bar where you can also get your free shots before the show. There is always a 2 for 1 drink special until 8 PM, so come early and mingle with like-minded people. At around 8.15 PM over five meters of delicious vegetarian and vegan pizza from one of Berlins most popular restaurants will be served at your seat. The show starts at 9 PM. Cosmic Comedy Berlin has an intermission and usually ends around 11 PM.

Englishman Dharmander Singh, co-founder and host of the legendary Cosmic Comedy Club in Berlin has been doing comedy for more than 20 years not only in Germany but also all around the world, so he knows how to run a great live stand-up comedy show with a lovely mix of local and international comedians. Dharmander and his team love to create a place where people (no matter what age, nationality, gender or religion) can come together, feel safe, have a laugh and get to know each other.

Petty Problems: A Mock Trial Comedy Show (Berlin Prenzlauerberg)

a themed, interactive, improvised stand-up comedy show where your pettiness is judged by the comedy court in a mock trial ‍⚖️

In this new format improvised comedy show, comedian & host Žana Fejzić (BIH/USA) with the help of local Berlin comics will determine how petty your problems are in a mock trial. You, the audience, get to play jury & decide on a guilty or innocent verdict. 👩🏼‍⚖️

Sepideh Kaav
Sepideh is an Iranian stand-up comedian based in Berlin. She grew up in the Middle East, spoiled by oil money and patriarchy, and came to Europe to pursue her dream of becoming an average engineer. Her humor has been described as dark and gross while shedding light on unnecessary truths.

Sofia May
Sofia May was raised in New York City on a strict diet of Ren and Stimpy and bad boundaries. Pure of heart and benefiting from having an eternal baby face, Sofia likes to play with any disturbing topic as if it is her new favorite toy. People often say: “She’s so innocent! …Just like O.J. Simpson”.

Abi Mohanty
Abi is a Berlin based comedian. Born in India, she didn’t go far from the stereotype of being a software engineer. While that fills her pockets, comedy fills the void in her heart. Currently converting childhood trauma into jokes one show at a time, Abi has been performing all over Europe, usually in places where Ryanair goes. In a desperate attempt to make her dad proud, she recently won the brutal King Gong at the Comedy Store, London.
