ANJA WOOT (SLO)
Cultivated and harvested in Slovenia, Anja Woot loves to tell personal, intimate stories mixed with an overdose of weirdness, unanticipated twists and a darkish sense of humour that keeps you captivated with laughter and questions like “But why?!”.
Her comedy has often been described as “ahahaha”, “so good, the best” and “please get off the stage, this is a strip club”.
Anja was one of the finalists of the first Berlin New Stand-Up Award 2019. She didn’t win, but neither did you, so shut up.

MAYA UPCHURCH (POL)
Maya Upchurch is a high-energy force of Gen-Z nature who loves to hop on stage with her sassy, dark and aggressive rants and opinions. She also makes fun of herself, bringing light to her time-wasting habits and irrational anxieties, which allows her to make fun of others twice as hard (or at least that’s how she thinks it works). Her Polish/American heritage gives her a unique and interesting perspective on what it’s like to have two passports and a lot of privilege and a generally good life. She started doing standup in Poland in February of 2020 and immediately after there was lockdown because China was scared of her power. Since then, she’s relocated to Berlin and has toured all over Europe. Check out her instagram to preview her comedy
