ComedyShorts Berlin is fast-paced competitive improv comedy-match played like a sporting event. Two teams go head-to-head in a playful, highly interactive battle-of-wits where the audience yells out suggestions all night and votes for which team brings on the ‘funny.’ ComedyShorts returns to the 800a for another night of wild lively fun between the teams and the audience.
The group performs in English, has been putting on shows since 2005 and has featured many of Berlin’s top improv talent over the years.
Tickets are only 10 eu sold through YesTicket, at 12 eu at the door. Doors open at 19:30, and the Match starts at 20:00

Berlin’s sliest, most unpredictable gang of musical improvisers is back at cozy 800A bar in Wedding to make up songs and storys about love, life, fantasy creatures and, let’s be honest, judging by their last few shows, probably a song about dicks and balls. Like every first Friday of the month, they’ve also invited some of their favorite friends from the capital’s comedy scene to create a real variety show of shits and giggles. This month’s special guests:
– Vaguely Familiar, a group of improvisers from the great ImprovWorks community bringing a unique combination of truthy and absurd elements to their improvised narratives.
– Deepti Anupindi, a storyteller and stand-up who was a finalist in the 2024 Berlin New Stand-Up Award and is known to sometimes bribe her audience – so sit front row!

It’s Lights Up! on a brand-new, completely improvised two-act musical that’s as unpredictable as it is unforgettable! With only your suggestions for inspiration, the cast weaves together a hilarious narrative packed with lovable characters, catchy tunes, and incredible harmonies. Described as “pure magic on stage,” every show is a one-night-only rollercoaster of story, sound, and spontaneous hilarity that will stick with you long after the final bow!
Hailing from the worlds of professional musical theatre and opera, Berlin’s Kaleidoscope is a powerhouse ensemble known for their stunning musicality, razor-sharp wit, and storytelling prowess. Since forming in 2022, they’ve sold out venues across Berlin, toured the UK, performed at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, and most recently headlined the Big Sing musical improv festival in Barcelona. Now these performers are zipping up their boilersuits, lacing up their Converse, and bringing their show to the Monbijou Märchenhütten!

Truth Night is an hour of slow-burn improv comedy. Hosted alternately by Bear Milk and All In Therapy, this is Berlin’s finest showcase for longform improv comedy. We will create a world filled with absurd characters and intertwining storylines, all made up on the spot.
In February 19th we have a very special guest for Truth Night: Road Kill is one of Berlin’s most experienced improv comedy teams — they will take a song suggestion from you to inspire their set, which takes place entirely in a car. Sounds weird? It is, but it is also very funny. Trust us.
Comedy Café Berlin is Berlin’s first international, alternative comedy stage, school, and bar. It’s one of the best places to watch English improv and stand-up comedy in Berlin. And they have craft beer. Wowzers.
