Berlin’s sliest, most unpredictable gang of musical improvisers is back at cozy 800A bar in Wedding to make up songs and storys about love, life, fantasy creatures and, let’s be honest, judging by their last few shows, probably a song about dicks and balls. Like every first Friday of the month, they’ve also invited some of their favorite friends from the capital’s comedy scene to create a real variety show of shits and giggles. This month’s special guests:
– Vaguely Familiar, a group of improvisers from the great ImprovWorks community bringing a unique combination of truthy and absurd elements to their improvised narratives.
– Deepti Anupindi, a storyteller and stand-up who was a finalist in the 2024 Berlin New Stand-Up Award and is known to sometimes bribe her audience – so sit front row!

It’s Lights Up! on a brand-new, completely improvised two-act musical that’s as unpredictable as it is unforgettable! With only your suggestions for inspiration, the cast weaves together a hilarious narrative packed with lovable characters, catchy tunes, and incredible harmonies. Described as “pure magic on stage,” every show is a one-night-only rollercoaster of story, sound, and spontaneous hilarity that will stick with you long after the final bow!
Hailing from the worlds of professional musical theatre and opera, Berlin’s Kaleidoscope is a powerhouse ensemble known for their stunning musicality, razor-sharp wit, and storytelling prowess. Since forming in 2022, they’ve sold out venues across Berlin, toured the UK, performed at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, and most recently headlined the Big Sing musical improv festival in Barcelona. Now these performers are zipping up their boilersuits, lacing up their Converse, and bringing their show to the Monbijou Märchenhütten!

Located at 90 Mil, one of Berlin’s most incredible art collectives, there’ll be a staffed bar with cheap drinks for anyone who feels like they need a bit of liquid courage, or just a cup of tea to keep them warm in the depths of Berlin’s winter.

Berlin’s only improv team named after soft cakes are inviting their funniest friends from Berlin’s comedy scene to perform in a variety show at cozy 800A Bar in Wedding. They’ve also recently grown, with some members taking the stage for the first time in July to do THD’s signature musical improv and make up songs from a variety of genres that are sure to be stuck in your head once the night is over.
This month’s very special guests:
Connor Belshaw, an up-and-coming and truly unpredictable stand-up comedian. Experience them attempting crowd work without truly understanding what that is, picking apart their own jokes or potentially just showing off their tattoos.
Naked Flamingos, the flamboyant and energetic short form improv troupe with a residency at ImprovWorks who’ve recently added new members themselves.

Dave Adams: (as seen on “Stand-up Revolution”, writer for Comedy Central) is a unique musical comedian who has been performing and producing shows all around the world for the last 7 years. He debuted his solo hour show ‘Dave Adams Has Feelings’ to sold out crowds in 2021 and has since performed all over Europe, UK, Australia and Indonesia. He has been opening act for Allan Havey (Seinfeld/Mad Men) and was a writer for Comedy Central’s – “Was ich eigentlich sagen wollte.” And he doesn’t even speak German.
