At around 8.15 PM over five meters of delicious vegetarian and vegan pizza from one of Berlins most popular restaurants will be served at your seat. The show starts at 9 PM. NO JOKE

Do you think comedy is boring? Are you tired of the same old cliché jokes? Have you had it up to here with comedians “trying”? Oh boy do we have a show for you.

NO JOKE is a stand-up comedy show where the performers are forbidden from using all but a single minute of their so-called “tried & tested” material. That means everything they say for the rest of their set has to be either fresh from their notebooks or, even better, straight off the top of their heads.

Don’t worry, though, as an audience member you’ll be able to directly influence the performance. Heard a joke before? Noticed a factual inaccuracy? Just want to provide unsolicited constructive feedback? Shout it out! Hold these clowns accountable!

Your hosts, esteemed comedy performers Lisa Frischemeier & Matthew Liam Healy, will also be on hand to help performers out with topic suggestions, and to step in if anyone tries to ask audience members what brought them to Berlin.

Nya Yeanafehn is a stand-up comedian who began his comedy career in New York City. He’s known for sharing stories about his experiences in Europe, his interesting views on life, and navigating the many cultures in Europe. After visiting Germany for the first time, he decided to sell everything and move within moths. Since, he’s performed in many cities in Europe.

Nya has performed in NYC, Spain, France, Netherlands, Germany, and even Estonia (decided to perform in an exotic place).

Nya is also the producer and host of the “Third Culture Talk Podcast,”. Where he talks with people who grew up in cultures different from their current one. Including people from all kinds of backgrounds, sharing their unique stories. The podcast was recently featured in Stern, a popular newspaper in Germany.
